CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT
Active Communities Research Programme

The Craigmillar Learning for Community Participation and Action research report - final version.

About 80 local people and many local organisations have supported our researcher, James Henderson, in finding out more about the wealth of skills and knowledge – the pool of community knowledge – that people across this community use in sustaining and developing this community.

The report is now being used to support the development of training and a learning programme for activists, volunteers and residents in this community; one which we aim to share with other communities in Scotland – see the training section of this ‘Active Communities’ section of the CBP website.

There is a 2-page summary of the whole report – click on text to download it; Chapter 1a provides a longer overview of the research and a summary of the key findings.
